      Kaja Peterson worked at SEI Tallinn from 1993 to 2022. She was a senior researcher and director of the Sustainable Development Programme.

      Her fields of interest and research included environmental policy, specifically environmental assessment issues, such as the methods of impact assessment, environmental management, the process of public involvement and the consideration of results of public involvement in decision-making. She published several books, guidelines and papers on these issues and was a respected lecturer on these topics.
