This brief presents the results of the research carried out by SEI Tallinn in cooperation with partners in assessing the development needs of the Baltic Energy Market in conjunction with the preparation of the Nordic power roadmap 2050.
This policy brief has a particular focus on the development of the three Baltic States’ power system and what is feasible in terms of expansion of transmission grid interconnections to achieve a carbon neutral power sector, taking into account possible grid developments in neighbouring countries.
