The Stockholm Office of Regional Planning is part of Stockholm County Council, working with planning issues of regional or inter-municipal nature. The office leads the regional development planning process and continuously works to increase the knowledge base that supports the planning.
A long-term perspective (20–40 years), a holistic approach and a process of dialogue and interaction are important qualities of the way the office works. The office interacts primarily with the county’s municipalities, but also with government agencies, businesses and non-profit organisations active in the region.
