The Institute of Asian Studies, Chulalongkorn University will host an international seminar on plastic pollution in Thailand – its impacts and mitigation measures. Speakers include SEI Asia’s Diane Archer and keynote speaker Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt.

The seminar will focus on plastic leakages and digital solutions, Covid-19 and plastic waste management and the role of informal waste workers in enabling plastic waste recycling in Bangkok.
The seminar will be held on 18 August 2022, 8.30-12.00pm at the Social Innovation Hub, Chulalongkorn University.
