Bibek Gautam

Bibek Gautam joined SEI Asia Centre in May 2024 as a Research Associate, contributing to Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) across regional climate, environment and development programs.

He specializes in designing and operationalizing end-to-end MEL systems, including Theories of Change, results frameworks, outcome monitoring, and adaptive learning processes that support evidence-informed program management.

Bibek brings more than five years of experience across development, humanitarian response and research, having worked with organizations and programs supported by UNDP, Caritas Austria, Catholic Relief Services and World Vision International. 

Bibek holds an MSc in Agricultural Economics. His professional interests include community-based development, MEL for climate adaptation, ICT-enabled MEL, and inclusive and participatory approaches to monitoring, evaluation and learning.
