In a moderated discussion featuring experts and stakeholders, the event will emphasize regional trends, opportunities, and gaps in renewable energy transition, as well as the social and environmental challenges involved. It will also underscore the significance of various state and business actors, including financial institutions and energy operators, in gender mainstreaming and implementing mechanisms to mitigate environmental damage and human rights violations in renewable energy projects.
The event aims to foster dialogue on future pathways towards a just and inclusive transition to a zero-carbon economy in the Asia-Pacific region.
