Webinar: building the evidence to improve ventilation

part of Indoor air quality

This event brought experts together to explore how research can build evidence for better ventilation and how this can change practice. We presented SAMHE’s findings on ventilation in UK schools and the school-wide factors that affect it and Sarah West joined a panel of experts to discuss opportunities and challenges in enabling change. Watch the recording of this free event, organized by The Future Urban Ventilation Network as part of World Ventil8 Day.

The focus of World Ventil8 Day this year was “Enabling Action”. On this theme, the Future Urban Ventilation Network ran a webinar focused on practical learning from research studies around indoor air and ventilation, and how to enable real-world intervention.

Speakers focused on studies from a range of settings including schools, homes, businesses and hospitals. A panel discussion focused on opportunities and challenges in enabling change.

SEI’s Sarah West and Sam Wood from Imperial College London jointly represented our collaborative citizen science research project SAMHE (Schools’ Air quality Monitoring for Health and Education).
