SEI’s Charrlotte Adelina will be presenting her work on “Towards inclusive urban waste systems: integrating informal waste workers for a circular economy”.
This seminar is part of a series on urban development through the perspectives of “small people” and is held in advance of the Bangkok Governor’s election early next year. The seminar will be in Thai with English translation available.

Media coverage / The problematic state of plastic systems has received a great deal of attention and is particularly challenging in Southeast Asia, creating a growing obstacle.
Media coverage / As opposed to a traditional interview, a walk along with waste pickers led to recollection of memories, experiences, associations and rich qualitative data.
Project / In collaboration with Thammasat University, with support from FORMAS, the project aims to promote circular economy for sustainable waste management in Thailand.
