Join the City of Helsingborg, UNECE, UNDESA, Nordregio, Global Utmaning, the Stockholm Environment Institute and Urban Future when we highlight the agency and power of cities, businesses and civil society organizations to effect positive change at the local level and enhance partnerships in order to drive the implementation of Agenda 2030 at the H22 City Expo in Helsingborg, Sweden from 31 May–1 June 2022.
The H22 +50 Session, and Dialogue of Eminent Experts on smart, sustainable, and inclusive cities will take place in Helsingborg, Sweden, on May 31, 2022, from 9.00 – 15.00h CET. And/or June 1, 2022, from 9.00 – 13.00.
These two events will focus on approaches to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs at the local level through the development of SDG Voluntary Local Reviews and fostering innovative urban financing.
It is part of Helsingborg’s H22 City Expo, the largest international event exploring innovative solutions that improve the quality of life in cities. H22 City Expo takes place from 30 May to 3 July 2022 and will include conferences, workshops, excursions, high-level meetings, networking moments, concerts, and other cultural events. Fedra Vanhuyse, Head of Division, Societies, Climate and Policy Support, will be giving a keynote address on “Prospects for achieving the SDG 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development through innovative partnerships” as an interactive session organized by SEI on 31 May 2022 from 9:30-10:00 CEST.
