Ana Calvo works at SEI Headquarters as Communications Assistant – Project Communications Unit.
She assists colleagues in delivering the communication strategy for projects such as Mistra Geopolitics and the Sustainable Lifestyles and Education Programme (SLE). She is part of the Coordination Desk for the SLE programme, where she is responsible for planning monthly sessions, and maintaining contact with stakeholders for the completion of reporting goals.
Before joining SEI, Ana worked writing ecosystem services assessments for BirdLife International, creating communications content for EU-funded projects at LPRC, and running a social media strategy for a campaign at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. She has also worked as a Science Teacher at Internationella Engelska Skolan, where she organized seminars and interactive activities, encouraging students to express their views.
Ana is curious and passionate about topics such as education, facilitation, sustainable development and ecosystem services. While studying, she joined different student groups, such as Green Impact, the Erasmus Student Network and Rethinking Economics, where she supported university campaigns, planned events and led educational workshops.
She holds a MSc in Environmental Communication and Management from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. Thanks to the Erasmus+ Program, Ana completed her last year of BSc studies at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK and earned her BSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of Alcalá in Spain.
