Ana Calvo is a Communications Associate at SEI Headquarters within the Project Communications and Impact division.
She is responsible for supporting communication activities for a number of research projects, such as those managed within the International Climate Risk and Adaptation Team. Before joining SEI, Ana worked in different roles where she gained experience in science communication, research projects and content creation.
Ana is interested in working on different topics, such as education, facilitation, sustainable development and ecosystem services. She aspires to use her work in communications as a tool to better understand and influence changes in society. While at university, she was an active student in groups such as Green Impact, Erasmus Student Network and Rethinking Economics, where she supported university campaigns, planned events and educational workshops.
She holds a MSc in Environmental Communication and Management from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. Thanks to the Erasmus+ Program, Ana completed her last year of BSc studies at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK and earned her BSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of Alcalá in Spain.
