Angie Tatiana is a Research Associate at SEI Latin America, and a member of the Water Team, where she contributes to the design, implementation, and visualization of technical tools for water resources planning and climate change adaptation.
In her role, she specializes in hydrological modeling, climate data analysis, and the co-creation of decision-support tools that support science–policy integration processes. Her work focuses on strengthening local capacities and promoting evidence-based decision-making for territorial planning and climate resilience in Latin America.
She has nearly five years of experience at SEI and close to nine years of professional experience overall, much of which has been developed through collaboration with academic institutions and public-sector partners on research applied to public policy and territorial planning across the region.
Angie Tatiana holds a Master’s degree in Engineering with a focus on Water Resources and a Postgraduate Specialization in Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering from the National University of Colombia, where she also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Her research interests include the co-creation of decision-support tools, hydrological assessments, and the application of modeling approaches to support inclusive climate resilience strategies in vulnerable regions.
