Camille joined SEI Asia as a Research Associate for the Gender, Environment and Development research theme in August 2019.
Camille has a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from Sciences Po Lille in France where she completed her thesis on women’s empowerment in India, analyzing socio-cultural barriers to gender equality. She also studied humanities with a focus on philosophy for two years before turning to political science.
Passionate about gender and environmental issues, Camille did a six-month internship with UN Women’s Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific prior to joining SEI. She assisted the management of a regional project jointly implemented with UN Environment that aimed to improve women’s resilience to climate-induced disasters.
