Nyah is an intern for SEI US based at the Davis, California office where she primarily focuses on water projects in South America, specifically the Argentine Puna.
Nyah holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis in International Agricultural Development. Her BS has a specialization in Rural Community Development and Spanish language. She is pursuing a Master of Science degree in International Agricultural Development following the Agroecology track. Nyah’s research involves cacao production in South America and collaborating with farmer cooperatives to encourage climate resilient practices as a means to battle the current cacao crisis. Nyah’s international agriculture experiences have been based in Colombia and Rwanda and she looks forward to expanding that scope.
