Victoria is a Communications Specialist with a broad range of experience in print and online media in the academic and charity sectors.
She joins SEI York’s research support group to support the Centre’s internal and external communication activities, working with the existing Communications Specialist and research support group manager.
Victoria has a background in wildlife conservation and environmental education. She holds an MSc in Wildlife Management from the University of Reading and a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Early in her career she worked in southern Portugal as scientific assistant warden for the charity A Rocha, then moving to work for the Church of Scotland as its first dedicated environmental officer.
More recently, Victoria has worked as Communications Officer for a church near York and Senior Ethics Administrator in the University of York’s Biology Department.
