Vivian Maina

Vivian Maina is a Communications Officer – Digital Media, at SEI Africa Centre

She has five years of experience in communications across sectors such as non-profit, healthcare and intergovernmental organizations. 

Vivian’s work focuses on developing digital and cross-platform content, alongside providing communications support for high-level events and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to joining SEI, she worked with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Bangkok, Thailand, where she produced a range of communication materials and supported the promotion of sustainability and development programmes across Southeast Asia and the Pacific. She also contributed to regional campaigns, events, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Vivian has also served as an online volunteer with the United Nations Volunteers (UNV), supporting communications for the UNV Regional Office for East and Southern Africa, as well as the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in Malawi.

Vivian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Daystar University in Nairobi, Kenya.
