The project will:

  1. facilitate knowledge generation and sharing, and
  2. provide targeted and direct support to national climate change offices for conducting studies, assessments and research (highlighting climate change impacts/opportunities) and identifying tailored responses or tools to support integrated climate change approaches; this covers national and regional policy frameworks for effecting changes towards more climate resilience.

The aims of the project are:

  • To develop a stocktaking report and Roadmap involving the review, analysis, and validation of relevant policies and legal framework, institutional mechanisms, capacity and technology needs, data systems and information, and barriers to policy mainstreaming
  • To initiate dialogues to develop the NAP
