Good environmental governance is a prerequisite of sustainable development. The main objectives of the project were to build the capacity of The Access Initiative partners in Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland to strengthen the capacity to engage in the EU Development Policy Debate.
The project used the existing Access Initiative network to gain experience in direct collaboration with partners from the Global South in support of EU development aid objectives.
It used this experience to engage in a development policy dialogue with development aid officials, thus building a comprehensive understanding of development co-operation within civil society in EU new member states.
It was funded by The Presidency Fund.
