The authors of this book chapter analyse the potential for Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) to promote development agendas. The focus is on small island developing states.
The chapter is part of a book in which some of the world’s most knowledgeable climate policy experts examine the first round of NDCs. The book, “Making Climate Action More Effective”, offers insights relevant to mitigation, adaptation and means of implementation, and discusses key elements of the Paris Agreement and broader climate policy.
