Kenya has achieved what few countries in the world have managed: building a power system anchored in renewable energy. Geothermal, wind and hydropower now form the backbone of the national grid.

Recent research by SEI highlights persistent disconnects between climate action, energy planning and equity goals,” Cassilde writes in the Daily Nation.
