On 10 October, Stockholm Environment Institute invites you to a press briefing where our leading experts will share their perspectives on the key issues set to dominate the upcoming Conferences of the Parties: the UN Biodiversity Conference (COP16) in Cali, Colombia (21 October–1 November) and the UN Climate Change Conference (COP29) in Baku, Azerbaijan (11–22 November).
Biodiversity in coral reefs is crucial for our livelihoods. The reefs are threatened by climate change.
The briefing will not only highlight major biodiversity and climate trends but will show how these two agendas are increasingly interlinked, as demonstrated in SEI research.
