As Nigeria accelerates efforts to build a low-carbon economy, the transport sector has a vital role to play in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality.
Attend this online briefing as it marks the culmination of the UK PACT-funded project Enhancing private sector capacity for climate and clean air action in Nigeria. Over the past six months, project partners have worked closely with transport businesses, government agencies, financial institutions and industry stakeholders to develop practical tools that support climate action while strengthening business resilience.
As a key technical partner in this consortium, the SEI has contributed to developing practical, data-driven resources designed to overcome implementation barriers in private-sector operations.
This technical briefing is designed for private sector transport leaders, fleet operators, industry associations, financial institutions, environmental policymakers, civil society organizations, and development partners interested in practical solutions for sustainable transport.
This project is delivered by an international consortium bringing together world-class expertise in transport, finance, climate policy, and social inclusion. Led by the University of York, the partnership unites Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), Escher Silverman Global (ESG), Africa PPP Advisory (AP3 Advisory), the Consulting Engineers Group (CEG), and the SLOCAT Partnership on Sustainable, Low Carbon Transport.
Join the webinar on 21 July 2026, from 10:30 to 12:00 WAT. During the webinar, participants will receive a practical walkthrough of the Framework and learn how it can be used to support long-term business transformation.
