The event, hosted by Clean Air Asia, highlighted the need to localize commitments and action from government, private sector, and civil society leaders to urgently scale-up and realize the co-benefits of addressing air pollution and climate change, with emphasis on driving political commitments to support the implementation of nationally determined contributions (NDCs) and the achievement of WHO guidelines for air quality. Further, the event underscored the need to double our efforts to address the impacts of environmental and health concerns on women, youth, and marginalized groups, and ensure that they are represented at all levels of decision-making.
