“Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover” summarizes the idea behind the circular economy. Symbiosis – collaboration between companies or sectors where waste or waste by-products become a resource for something else – is key to enabling business models that allow a shift towards a circular economy. Despite technical and institutional progress towards circularity, knowledge, market and policy gaps remain.
Welcome to the second regional exchange and learning event hosted by BONUS RETURN. The workshop will address challenges experienced in establishing agricultural and industrial symbiosis to enable upscaling of circular solutions in the Baltic Sea Region. It will be an exchange between the project’s partners and local stakeholders, and a broader network including industry, government, the private sector and universities in the Baltic Sea Region.
