Camilo Sanabria is a Research Associate at SEI Latin America, working within the centre’s water team. In this role, he supports water resources research and consulting, with expertise in hydrology, hydrodynamics, and Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), contributing to technical analyses and project delivery across the team.
He has 9 years of experience in water resources, working on applied hydrology, ecohydrology and IWRM in public institutions and the private sector, bridging science and decision-making for water planning and management. Camilo is an Agricultural Engineer and holds an MEng. in Water Resources Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
His research interests focus on ecohydrology, climate change impacts on water availability, and IWRM, with an emphasis on understanding the ecological dimensions of hydrological cycle processes and translating evidence into practical water governance and adaptation strategies.
