Maria Cole is a Senior Communications Officer at SEI Headquarters – Project Communications Unit.
She works with the Stockholm Sustainable Finance Center, leading the communications for the Center and also with the EU and Finance Strategic Policy Engagement work streams.
Maria has extensive experience in international communication focusing on external relations, Public affairs and international marketing within several industries.
Prior to SEI Maria worked at GSK where she held a position as External Communications and PR Manager for the Nordic and Benelux area. Here Maria was heading the communications function, managing external communication and public affairs for GSK Consumer Healthcare. Maria has also worked as Global Brand Manager at Galderma and she has held several positions in communications within research driven organisations in the intersection of academia, public policy and business. She has special expertise in developing and implementing impactful communication-, stakeholder engagement-, and CSR plans for high-performing global companies and well-known global brands.
Maria holds an International Master of Political Science from Lund University in Sweden.
