The project ‘Support for Sida’s helpdesks’ works in collaboration with the University of Gothenburg to provide Sida with advice on environmental and climate change issues to consider when formulating country or regional level assistance programmes.
In doing this we draw on the expertise of SEI staff in different centres, as well as our network of regional experts. This is a core part of the SEI mission to bridge between science and policy.
Since the start of the project we have provided Sida with assistance in 10 country strategies and regional strategies for Africa and Latin America, as well as participating in training workshops for Sida staff.
Project / This project develops a tool for AI-powered text analysis to be tested in systematic evidence synthesis reviews of research and policy papers.
Feature / SEI was invited to share research insights with the International Development Association and Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Event on 22 April – 23 April / SEI's Diane Archer and Raja Asvanon will be speakers at this international seminar on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of CUSRI.
