BalticSurvey

BalticSurvey researches the uses and attitudes of the general public in the Baltic Sea Region towards the marine environment and various measures for improving the environment. SEI is responsible for carrying out the Estonian component of the project.

As a part of a larger project, PROBAPS: Protection of the Baltic Sea: Benefits, Costs and Policy Instruments, BalticSurvey further provides input into the development of a benefit study to consistently estimate the benefits of an improved marine environment in all the Baltic Sea countries.

Through this work, SEI is a member of the Baltic Systems Tools for Ecological-economic evaluation: a Research Network (BalticSTERN).
