Join SEI experts for the fall 2024 WEAP training, an online three-day interactive course that will teach the basic and intermediate functions of SEI’s flagship water modelling software. Register today for the sessions taking place 17, 23 and 30 October. Space is limited.

The first date has been moved from 16 to 17 October. Please note this first date is a Thursday and the remaining two dates are Wednesdays.

17 to 30 October 2024
Online only

Join SEI researchers for a three-day training on how to perform water modelling and planning using our flagship software, WEAP.

WEAP is a user-friendly modelling tool that enables integrated water resources planning on a variety of scales. Nearly 50 000 people use WEAP throughout the globe for policy planning, research and more.

SEI experts will conduct the training online, in English, with one week between each session on 17, 23 and 30 October 2024, from 8–11 a.m. PST (5–8 p.m. CET). The course will follow some of the exercises found in the self-guided WEAP tutorial and includes quizzes, optional homework assignments, and opportunities for questions and discussion to enrich the learning each day. Check the training time in your location.

The training costs USD 300 per person. No previous WEAP experience is required and a WEAP license is not necessary to participate in the course. Review the syllabus to make sure the training will meet your needs. A certificate of course completion is provided upon successful completion of the course.

Can’t make this training? Self-guided WEAP training courses are available in English and Spanish.

Please email SEI Scientist Doug Chalmers at [email protected] with any questions about the basic training.
