Astrid Nilsson is a Research Associate at SEI Headquarters and supports the projects CANDIES, Viable city’s finance, and LeadIT.
Astrid has experience in Environmental Systems Analysis, Life Cycle Assessment, and has worked with a variety of related topics, such as sustainable consumption, circular economy, circular procurement, and carbon offsetting.
At SEI, her work focuses on sustainable supply chains and food consumption, sustainable cities and green public procurement for hard-to-abate sectors. Astrid is also interested in exploring degrowth discourse and how it can support her work.
Astrid holds an M.Sc. in Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology from KTH and an engineering B.Sc. from EPFL.
