Julia Jokiaho is an Associate at SEI Headquarters – Societies, Climate and Policy division. Working within the Cities, Communities, and Consumption team, she supports the Urban Circularity Assessment Framework project and the Viable Cities’ Finance project.
Before starting at SEI, Julia worked at municipal governments across Sweden as a strategic planner, where she helped evaluate and implement policy proposals for issues within public health, urban planning, housing and mobility. She also conducted economic, environmental and social sustainability assessments of development projects.
Julia recently completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economic and Social Geography at Uppsala University, during which she studied for a year at Sciences Po, Paris. She is now undertaking a master’s degree in Political Science at Uppsala University, where she is specialising in public policy.
