      Natalia Ortiz is the Communications Officer for SEI Latin America. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications from the Pontificia Javeriana University based in Bogotá and a postgraduate degree in Peace and Conflicts Communications from the Universitat Autónoma of Barcelona in Spain.

      With more than 4 years of professional experience, Natalia has worked as a Public Relations Executive in a communications agency where her main client was Microsoft Colombia. After that, she worked for 3 years in a USAID-funded post-conflict project in Colombia where she wrote about the Colombian government initiatives supported by the US government regarding the implementation of the Havana Peace Accord in some of the regions most affected by the armed conflict in the country.

      Natalia’s areas of expertise include writing content and creating communication materials both in English and Spanish for different audiences. Her areas of interest include youth empowerment, rural development, peacebuilding and climate change.
