Sam Bland

Sam joined SEI in February 2020, as a software developer, to assist in the development of a number of SEI models including DO3SE and LEAP-IBC.

His background includes a Master of Architecture (MArch) at Manchester School of Architecture (MSA) where he focused on complexity theory and urban simulation. Sam’s interests relate to the application of urban simulation to understand the city as a complex adaptive system, particularly in the understanding of the impact of redundancy on urban energy use.
