The inclusion of SEI in this prestigious Athletics Kenya program is a testament to the growing recognition of the link between environmental health and sports performance.
These activities are part of the ‘Clean Air for Enhanced Urban Climate Resilience in African Cities’ project. The project aims to promote cleaner air and a pollution-free environment, particularly in sports venues and surrounding areas. Since 2021, SEI and UNEP have been partners of Athletics Kenya in meeting its sustainability goals, contributing significantly to cleaner air during sporting events.
