Anneli Sundin is Team Leader: Project Communications and Impact at SEI Headquarters, which forms an essential pillar of the new Communications, Impact and Learning Division at SEI. This position builds on her experience as serving as SEI’s Project Impact Coordinator, where she led efforts to strengthen SEI’s monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks and better connect them to research planning and communications.
Anneli brings expertise in crafting and executing strategic, tailored communication activities that resonate with stakeholders — all while keeping a close eye on progress and impact through effective monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
Prior to SEI HQ, Anneli worked at SEI Oxford as a Knowledge Manager and Communications Node, managing and expanding content for the global climate adaptation platform weADAPT and supporting its diverse user network of researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers.
Anneli holds an M.Sc. in Social-Ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development from the Stockholm Resilience Centre, Stockholm University with her academic background in environmental science and sustainability. In her under- and postgraduate dissertations, she has been studying climate impacts on vulnerable smallholder farmers in Eastern (Kenya) and Western (Burkina Faso and Niger) parts of Africa.
