Charmaine joined SE Asia as a Communications Officer in February 2020. She has more than 10 years of professional working experience in development communication and knowledge management. She has developed information and communication tools and strategies for capacity building and institutional-strengthening projects for multi-stakeholders in Asia and the Pacific.
Her work spans across multiple sectors and themes, with focus on development journalism, multimedia production, social media communication, donor and media relations, stakeholder communications trainings, and events planning.
She has been a consultant for various humanitarian and development organizations, including the Asian Development Bank, United Nations Development Programme, and the International Organization for Migration on global and regional transboundary environmental concerns, governance and capacity development, and partnerships for development.
Charmaine has a MSc in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs with the Robert Gordon University.
