Water touches every global challenge we face: hunger, climate change, gender equity, poverty, trade and more. Solving one water issue has the potential to ripple across the others.
In 2015, as part of the Sustainable Development Goals in the 2030 Agenda, the world committed to providing safe water access and sanitation to all by 2030. But, with billions still left without this basic need, we are seriously off-track toward fulfilling this human right, according to the UN.
SEI is committed to making this goal a reality. And, this year, World Water Day coincides with the UN 2023 Water Conference, the first in 46 years, which strives to unite the world in a common mission to solve the global water crisis.
